Bangkok/Guam Via Eva?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to fly from Bangkok to Guam via EVA?

When I make a Timetable inquiry on their web site I get something like this:

=====

BR0068 BKK 17:20 TPE 21:45

BR0020 TPE 22:55 GUM 04:40+1

=====

with Tuesday and Saturday departures from Bangkok.

But, when I click MAKE A BOOKING, Guam is no longer a choice in the "Destination City" drop down menu.

I called them and they said it should be there and if it's not then something is wrong with my browser. I've tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

It should be good. They were still flying TPE-GUM as of Saturday.

The odd thing is that you can make a booking TPE-GUM, but not BKK-GUM (via TPE).

I'm just wondering if there is some restriction preventing them from booking both segments together, or if it's a web page error?

I would guess that is a programing error, but looking at your OP, it may be a short layover problem. You only have 1 hour 10 minutes in TPE. There may be a check built into the system to prevent too short of layovers from being booked.

Thanks. You're probably right.

My wife called EVA again as we found some flights with longer Taipei layovers.

The answer she got was: You have to book Bangkok-Guam through a travel agent, not online.

Anyone know why this would be?
