Change To Non-B Visa For People Working For Boi Approved Company

Expatriates under flood-affected BOI-promoted projects who enter Thailand without a Non-immigrant B visa can now apply for a

Nonimmigrant B visa at the One-Stop Service Center for Visa and Work Permit.

The Immigration Bureau has also significantly relaxed the criteria in order to facilitate flood-affected

companies, and the revised criteria are as follows:

1. The application has to be submitted before the expiry of the authorized stay in Thailand.

2. The documents required are:

1) visa application (tt87)

2) certified letter from BOI

3) passport and copy

4) photo (4 x 6 cm)

3. 2,000 Baht fees.

This goes only for people working for a BOI approved company, who can make use of the One Stop Service Centre. They can now convert to a non-B visa.
