How Long To Get A Retirement Visa At Phuket Town?

Featured Replies

How long to does it take to get a retirement visa at Phuket Town?

Is there a best time to arrive there?

1 o'clock? or do they have reduced numbers at lunch time?

Thank you.

Less than 60 min. provided you have all your paperwork in order.

Make sure to have your income or bank account info converted into Thai baht.

I typically make sure to be there around 10:30 AM.

Go to the front desk and have the farang auxiliary staff review your paperwork and they will tell you which immigration officer to see.

My experiences in Phuket town have all been positive.

Good luck.

You maybe there a while trying to get a visa of any kind at immigration office. If you are talking about an extension of stay thats a horse of a different color.

Thank you.

if u mean a retirement yearly EXTENSION;

it has never taken me more than 15 minutes and that includes a re entry permit. I always have the right amount of copies (except copy of NEW extension which u need get downstairs after u get the new extension)

I am there when they open at 8:30

or arrive right after lunch.

YOU do not need the farang help there are signs above each officer an what they handle ( its usually the 2nd guy from the left back row)
