You apply for the work permit at the labour office, with all documents they require (including from your employer).

Typically that means you and your employer need to fil in a few forms

- submit a health certificate from a hospital

- submit your contract

- submit your degree

- passphoto's

- copy of passport

and some more documents, which also depends on the kind of job. Ask at the labour office, as you need their forms anyway.

Is the labour office you talking about the government complex at Chaeng Wattana ?

No, I believe the labour office for Bangkok is at the ministry of labour itself. Not sure about it's location.

Does it have a Thai name? What do I suppose to search for its address or directions?

The main office is near Ding Daeng if you work in Bangkok.

All extensions can be done at your local office, as there are many in Bangkok.
