Hi

I am studying in Ramkhamhaeng University. I got Non-ED visa for 1 year. Age 34 and From Burma (Myanmar). I like to bring my family (wife and one kid, they are Burma (Myanmar) nationality) to visit to me and stay for a while. We married legally. If I try with visit visa for them, she don’t have anything to show for properties, bank account and other stuff. My question is

can I bring with the spouse visa?

And How can I do that?

Any help will be thankful.

No you can not as you would have 2.9 student status if on one year extension of stay and there is no provision for dependents for such entry.

Yes she will need a non immigrant O visa for entry and then will be able to convert to match your extension of stay. For visa she will likely need marriage certificate and copy of your passport and extension of stay stamps. If you with her so much the better.

I probably won't be able to be with her, as I have to come back to Thailand to work, but will definitely give her all documents related to my visa (and work permit).

Thanks a lot, lopburi3
