tonybuak
I know some one who lives in Issan and who needs a passport, There very Thai and have an ID card , Do they have to go to the new football stadeum sized imigration office in Wangatan( I think?) Bangkok or is it possible to go a local goverment office to get one?
ags83
I think can get it done all over the place, at a decent sized city at least, not sure where the nearest one to your friend is though. We just got a Thai passport in Ubon for our son, it was very easy and they mailed us the completed passport in a week or so.
gusG
This might help. If you look around the sight, you will also see what documents you will need. http://www.mfa.go.th/web/473.php?id=3157
