Drunk Driver hurt in motorbike crash close to Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A suspected drunk driver was badly hurt in a single vehicle road accident close to Pattaya in the early hours of Thursday. Police and a medical unit from the Queen Sirigit Hospital in Sattahip were called to the crash which resulted in injuries sustained to Khun Chockchanan aged 33 who admitted to being extremely drunk. According to witnesses, seconds before the crash, he was seen driving at a high rate of speed along the main Sukhumvit Road and was weaving between lanes. Eventually he slammed into a street sign next to the fast lane and was thrown off his bike into the central reservation. He was taken to Hospital
