"The partial eclipse begins at 7:45pm when the Moon reaches the umbra, Earth’s inner dark shadow. Totality will be achieved by by 9:06pm as the entire Moon is covered by the Earth’s shadow."

Don't stare at it too long, it can cause lunacy.

5 bloody 5

I was about to start the same topic, which bring me to the question. Does thaivisa have science section? That would be great.

No, don't think so.

It is supposed to turn blood red at full eclipse. Check out, SPACE.com.

Well, we were out watching the moon starting to eclipse and then the clouds rolled over. Anyone else have a clear view.

We have a clear view here in Bang Bo... there's only a tiny slice of the full moon shining, and with a bit of luck it will go red soon.

Very clear here in Phetchabun, almost total right now, and quite red. My wife won't look at it though - bad luck, apparently.

Well, we persevered and just about saw the full eclipse through the clouds. Not worth the wait, quite uninspiring (due to the cloud cover) I'm sorry to say.

Ao Por was quite ok. Could see the moon going to shadow.

Been telling the kids about it all day, go outside at 1930 and the biggest black cloud I have ever seen is over Kamala :annoyed: . And now 2145 same :ermm:

I caught a pretty good view of it. Tried for a picture but nothing turned out...

Few pictures, mostly playing with camera.

You got a few pretty nice shots!

How about linking the two posts that appear about the Lunar Eclipse into one post, save space on the main page
