Long-Stay Thai Visa For A Family

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

My family and I arrived Thailand two weeks ago with a 3 months Tourist visa.

We would like to stay at least a year here. Currently in Chiang Mai.

Now, parents are 33 years old, not working. Two kids are 4 y/o and 1 y/o. One of the kid will be in a kindergarten.

We prefer to stay in Thailand when applying the visa, if possible.

What is the best way to do that, without paying lots of baht? Can the rest follow a parent's ED visa? Can the parents follow a child if she is in a kindergarten?

Do we need a visa service?

Thanks.

One parent can follow child in school if show 500k in bank account. But only one. Other could stay with ED visa for study of Thai and child could overstay without charge.
