Silicone Remover

Featured Replies

Before the flood my staff was given instructions to silicone everything that might be effected by water eg electric plugs doorways and the large safe that couldnot be carried to the second floor also some machinery .Now the problem is removing the stuff without damaging the surface .My question is does anybody know of a product to disolve it

Use a scalpel to remove as much as you can then use plain old petrol, not sure what effect it will have on other things like the paint on your fridge etc, but it will dissolve the silicon.

Acetone.

Remove the most silicone with a scrapper after that use a Silicone remover.

Home pro should have some products, HG remover is the product that doesn't leave any marks behind after silcone been removed.

acetone based nail polish remover is excellent ( smells nice also ):D
