November 25, 200520 yr Hi Guys! In one of my previous post, some people was talking about a bar who was in Bkk named Woodstock. I know that Woodstock is closed and by replies from members that the owner was looking to open it in a new location. Can it be possible that WoofStock Bar&Grill is the new version of Woodstock? It's not open yet I think because I know about during the time I was searching for jobs on the web and saw that this place looking for all staff. Thanks for your informations if you have some about that! CrazyFrog
November 25, 200520 yr Hi Guys!WoofStock Bar&Grill <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like the same, but with dog-meat the speciality Edited November 25, 200520 yr by lampard10
November 25, 200520 yr Author Yeah! WoofStock! I don't know if it's a spelling mistake on the website I saw that or if it's the real name, but we'll see soon for sure!
November 25, 200520 yr Apparantely still to be announced. Their main page says it has opened on Soi 13 but their location link says 'Coming soon". http://www.woodstockbkk.com/index.htm Stickman rumours either Soi 13 or Soi 55. I always liked Woodstock because of it's pretty good food but even more for atmosphere, get a break from the mayham in Nana. Edited November 25, 200520 yr by tywais
November 26, 200520 yr Author Just to give some details on where I've got WoofStock name, take a look at this link! http://www.nationejobs.com/fulltime/displa...iSelect=&bpage= CrazyFrog
November 26, 200520 yr just passed it today, soi 13 on thonglor (sukhumvit soi 55). don't know if it's open yet as the building it's in is pretty new and it looks like it's just finished renovations.
November 30, 200520 yr I've seen it, too. Strange neighborhood for Woodstock, if you ask me. The intersection where they are in particular is a hotspot for Japanese salaryman on the prowl and the whole area is so jammed up in the evenings that parking anywhere around there is impossible. Other than Japanese clubs and restaurants, there are any other commerical activities around there at all.
December 1, 200520 yr For me the magic of Woodstock was its location amongst the chaos of Nana. It gave it a kind of edge. I fear it will become just another sterile overpriced a/c place along Sukhumwit......

December 1, 200520 yr Hi Guys!WoofStock Bar&Grill <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like the same, but with dog-meat the speciality <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Would that be a change? I once had a hamburger there after they came in first in the "Best hamburger in Bangkok" contest. I have no idea what was in the "hamburger" but it was spiced up more than most sausage and I couldn't eat it.
December 1, 200520 yr They are open already, but still in the midst of getting ready for the official opening. They are definitely a more upmarket feel, but it's still the same great music! Ground floor is a restaurant & bar feel, Second floor has a pool table and a music jukebox, and the Third floor is a sports bar!

December 2, 200520 yr Sounds good, I'll check it out soon. Any parking??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's a parking lot behind it, but it's a bit of a construction site still, you can park in the soi's near it or if you treasure your car, best park at J Avenue in Thong Lor 15!
