SanukDii
Hi Guys, Here for a few months and wondered if anyone can recommend a good shop in central bangkok where I they sell L series lenses and where I may be able to get a Hoodman Loupe. Are lenses more expensive/cheaper here than in europe? Thanks

BangkokImages
http://www.fotofile....&ban_name=Canon +1 Probably the most complete camera supplier in the Kingdom, though I find some shops managed better than others.
SanukDii
Thanks Chaps. I went around Pantip today and noticed significantly cheaper prices on the 70-200 2.8L IS II ...nearly four hundred pounds cheaper than in the uk (£1400 as opposed to £1800). Can this be correct? are those legit lenses?
angiud
Legit but usually 'grey' market. Not guaranteed from Canon Thailand
BangkokImages
Thanks Chaps. Can this be correct? are those legit lenses? I've heard taxes in the UK can be significantly more than like items in Thailand, so it certainly could. But as mentioned, be careful with warranties. A Thailand warrantied camera item will have a "Thailand Warranty" card in the box and not an "international warranty" like the grey markets will have. Personally I buy grey market lenses if I can save 15-20%, especially if I can purchase a decent third party warranty like a MACK warranty. But never a body.
