I use Visa Express on Sukhumvit Soi 71 and have always found them very efficient.

Philip the manager is 0890245255 and the office girls 027132498.

I think their Cambodia 90-day run might be Wednesday, but check. Those day runs meet up at the big seafood restaurant on the corner of Ekamai, right next to the BTS exit about 09:30am.

If it's an overnight stay in Laos for a new tourist visa they leave from their office in the PB Tower - it's a long way down Soi 71 so take a taxi down. I think they leave around 9 or 10pm.

Good luck but why did you leave it so late? They will sort you out anyway, jap.gif

If for a visa rather than a new entry believe some/most visa services have given up on the tourist visa issue runs to Cambodia as very erratic in how long it may take. Be prepared to spend the better part of a week in a border hotel if using this method.

Air France from BKK to PP, 5750 baht including taxes. Flies Tues,Thur and Sat. This will probably give you a 30 day visa-on-entry(depending on your nationality)

According to his other thread he only needs an additional 9 days or so, a simple border run should be plenty.

I did my border runs with a company call Thaivisarun. NOT associated with this Thai Visa forum I should add.

Do a google or Yahoo search on the internet and you will find them and their telephone and email addresses. The company is run by an Italian and his Thai wife. You should have no problem getting in touch with them in English.

They do a border run from Bangkok, basically a day trip, that leaves Bangkok at about 6 a.m. and takes you to a small border crossing at a place called Ban Laem (spelling not certain). The whole trip takes one day and you return to Bangkok about 5 p.m. The last time I did it the cost was 2900 Baht including the Cambodian visa. They take care of all the details...you just exit Thailand, turn around, and re-enter.

What I'm talking about here is a simple border run. They also do a visa run into Cambodia where you actually stay overnight in Cambodia and get a new Thai visa at the Thai consulate. I have never done that trip...just the one day border run.

So locate them on the internet and make a telephonr call now.

:D

P.S. They make two stops going to and from Cambodia for bathroom breaks and soda or snack stops...so bring some cash for the munchies. You will spend about an hour at the border and there is a Thai restaurant there for a quick meal.

But get your exit/re=entry and visa stamp done first.

I used Thai Visa run and it went smoothly.

Leaves at 9:30am from the restaurant on the corner of Sukhumvit and Ekamai, right by the Sky Train station.

Costs 2000 baht, bring your passport, a photo copy of your passport and 2 passport photos.

Get there at least 15 minutes early to get the paperwork done.

They provide lunch on the bus, en route and a bottle of water when you get on.

There's a couple of stops each way.

Simple procedure at the border. Queue up to leave Thailand and get stamped out. No need to cross the border and run the gauntlet of all the begging kids. They tell you to wait and they take passports to get stamped on the Cambodian side. Your passport is then returned and you queue up to re-enter Thailand and get stamped back in. I received another 15 days.

Left at 9:30am returned around 8:15pm to Ekamai.

Only one grumble. I was sat at the front, the TV was loud and the woman organiser was on her mobile for 5 hours-THERE AND BACK!!!

Sit further back. cowboy.gif

Hummm....ThaiVisa must have changed there run times.

Used to leave at 6 a.m. and return back to BKK about 5 p,m.

And though they did all the visa processing they required you to physically exit Thailand and return yourself.

Maybe the kids and beggers made them change the proceedure.

Haven't done one for about 6 months, since I got my retirement extension approved.
