Hi folks, moving to Thailand. Looking for marina or place to tie up a sailboat longterm in the Bangkok area, or someplace i can haul out the boat longterm that's cheap. Please don't mention Pattaya, it's just too expensive. Thanks folks

Can you inform as to what kind of boat and the length etc. ? If it's a sailing-yacth; how high of a mast-clearance does it require ? Maybe I have some ideas for you.

Many sailor in Thailand wind up at Phuket. Yes, a long way from BKK but easy to get to with cheap 1-hour flight. Have three major marinas with haulout and several others docks and shipyards. Many cruisers and ex-cruisers who have swallowed the anchor and now live here.

There are a few places you can store your boat in ban phe rayong province. Ban Phe is opposite koh samet island. is that of any interest.
