Former Pattaya Gar Bar employee accused of attempted theft and sexual assault

PATTAYA:-- A 17 year old former employee of a Gay Bar in South Pattaya was arrested and accused of attempted theft and sexual assault of a female apartment owner on Wednesday. Police were called to the Suksit Flats at the front of Soi Wat Tumsamakee in South Pattaya where local motorbike taxi drivers had detained the 17 year old boy who cannot be named due to his age. The alleged victim, who was extremely distraught and clearly injured, Khun Sasiwimon aged 30, accompanied the alleged attacked to a nearby Police Box where she claimed she had returned to her room to find the boy inside, in the process of stealing items. He proceeded to place his hands around her neck to prevent her from screaming and tried to drag her to the roof of the apartment complex but failed to do so. He then returned to the room and then attempted to sexually assault her. The tight grip around her neck was loosened for a time and she was able to scream and summon assistance. The boy claimed he used to work for a Gay Bar in Soi Pattayaland 1 but had lost his job after the owner discovered the boy’s age.
