(E49 LNB Overload) Have any UBC subscribers seen this code? The pictures freezes, goes blank. 2 seconds later I see (E48 searching for signal) and the picture comes back. First every 5 min. now every 1 or 2 minutes.

Called UBC already. Was first told the usual "unplug and replug" which didn't help. Finally got them to agree to send someone out but won't be until Monday. I'm wondering if it's something I can fix myself.

I had it yesterday, I just took the smart card out and waited 10 seconds then put it back in, no problems so far since. It never happened in my old HD box, just since they have changed the box.

I don't have the HD box so I guess it's the old one. We've taken the card out and waited 20 times. 10 minutes later it starts up again.

What's the charge for the new HD box and do you think it's worth it?
