Two Different Dates In Passport And Om Tm Card

Featured Replies

Hello,

I was planning on doing a visa run tomorrow but to I just saw that I have two different dates in my passport and on my TM card. In my passport I can stay until Jan 31, but on my TM card it says I can stay until Jan 1. What should I do?. I have a non-imm B visa and my last visa run was Nov 3.

Thanks in advance.

Any non immigrant visa entry is 90 days so you should be good to January 31st.

I didn't think they stamped the TM 6 with a date when you could stay to, thought it was the date of arrival only

Thanks for your answers. The stamp in my TM card (Departure card) is not 100% but in my passport its perfect and its say 31st Jan. How important is the date on the Departure card? I think I go to immigration tomorrow and see what they have to say about it.

It is not an issue - only if the stamp in your passport was incorrect would a trip to immigration be in order.

Thank you for your answer. The stamp in my passport is very clear and its says " Admitted until 31 Jan 2012". But on the TM card its not so clear, you can see that its not the whole stamp and thats why it says "Admitted until Jan 1 2012".

The stamp in passport is what is important.

They can see that the stamp is incomplete and can see your entry details indicating that the date is not Jan 1..
