Want to buy a battery charger for car/mc. I have checked out Tesco (no have) and Nana Screw (sp?) The latter had a couple of models but they looked like professional models. I'm looking for normal 4-6 Amp charger. Anyone?

I think many autoparts shops would have them. I bought one in an autoparts shop in Pasang for around 900 Baht. Maybe chargers are more readily available in the more rural areas.

A charger enclosed in a metal box seems more robust than one in a plastic box. Also make sure the charger has a circuit breaker that can be reset. The one I bought also has a 6V - 12V switch and a Hi and Low switch.

I bought one in Australia for around 1400 Baht and it only lasted for a short time because it didn't have a circuit breaker.
