seaeagle
Have searched some similar questions and replies in this forum, and there appears to be a little difference in interpretation. So, at present, what are the rules if a child aged 6 stays beyond the 30 day tourist allowance? I have a longer visa, but would like to just bring child in on normal 30 day one, as long as there's no penalty and hassle when we leave. Thanks. Mario2008
Children under 15 years of age are not fined for overstay. Their passport will be marked that they had an overstay, but it is not a problem to return to Thailan with that stamp. The airline can question you about this and deny the child boarding if he is staying longer than 30 day without a ticket out within 30 days or a visa.
