When making your own juice, I don't think it's a cost issue - it's more of a you know what you want and can put it in. I can't imagine driving around Chiang Mai every time I want a jug of juice.

Baan Suan Pac used to use a good, slow action juicer to make the juices in their fridge, but I would ask her if she still is using that kind of juicer as I have noticed that many places eventually switch to centrifugal as they are much cheaper and usually easier to clean.

I got a very good blender. That way every thing I put in it comes out as Juice. Of course I have to add ice. Often the vitamins are lost in the pulp. I got mine at Siam

I'd also suggest blending... can do a lot more and easy to clean. Green smoothies are especially tasty. Juicing will no doubt get old fast. Baan Suan Pac has the Omegas (auger type), but you're talking around 15k up. Philips do a half-decent centrifugal one for about 4k, available everywhere. Vok, on the Super (opp Index, ish), also have some good ones upstairs.

I just bought a good Philips one from Robinson Airport Plaza (top floor), it was about half price at 4k as a new model was out.
