Fraudulent Credit Card Charge?
Little update here, hope this helps anyone wondering the same thing. My foreign bank closed my debit card immediately without even asking about this transaction. The transaction was with name: TFB.MERCHANTS SERVICE The amount was 1.00 THB (0,03 €). I asked the bank why they closed my card, and they said that "based on collected data this merchant is fraudulent" and thus they closed my card instantly. I hadn't even used this card a lot online, because just 6 months ago my last card was cancelled. So I tried not to use the new card to avoid all the hassle to get a new card here (and paying the courier fees). So I am guessing that maybe the card info was copied at some shop/atm or something. Just guessing, could also be some online service that has been breached. -

Again, trying to put a "Technical" opinion forward & not how it would work in the real world... "Technically" the money I get back from my parents is not a gift as it's clearly a reimbursement for the flights I've booked for them.... In the real world nobody would ever know (besides my Dad who has already reimbursed me the money to my UK account). UK is the only country that I am aware of that operates a "Remittance" based taxation system so it's where I look to for my opinions on how remittance might work around credit cards (even then it's only for a very selective group of people, UK Expats don't count). -

Each to their own. I only go to the same massage lady that I have been seeing for over a decade when I am in Phuket, no boom boom, strictly a genuine massage, by a qualified masseuse. I aim for dinner around 6, then back to my hotel room for a nap of between 1-2 hours, shower, then out I go to the drop off point, i.e. opposite Bangla Road (away from the Beach Road end). I just hang there as the motorbike taxis, drop off the girls going to work, and when I spot one that's up to my standard, I will follow that a$$ down Bangla Road until she goes into the bar that she works, I will do a round and come back in 10 minutes and grab a seat, buy her and myself 2 drinks max, have the small talk, then get down to the business side of things, by then it's about 10pm and we are off to the hotel, by 11.00 - 11.30 dessert has been served and I show her out, shower, then in bed by midnight. Cost is usually around 3,000 baht excluding my drinks and I am satisfied. Noise, well depends on the bar, no pressure to buy lady drinks, I offer when I order my own drink, no pressure to take the girl back as I know what I want, and have never been knocked back. I can understand what your friend is doing, but as someone else mentioned, those mattresses and girls have more than likely seen more sex than your hotel room. Like I said in the beginning, each to their own, been there, done that and just didn't feel clean for me. -

Then again, these are the same people that can spend hours in a "how to deal with microaggression" summit then walk out and chant "death to the Jews." You have to wonder just how scrambled Kamala's brains are to come up with such unintelligent, incoherent sentences. This is not just a speech impediment, it is the inability to think and speak rationally. She certainly does not have the mental capacity to assume the role of President of the United States.
