Single Tourist Visa Lao

Featured Replies

I have traveled to Lao 3 times for double entry tourist visa's, however I then traveled 2 years using none-o from Hull.

I have now got to return to Lao for a single-entry tourist visa as I am traveling to the UK at the end of March.

Is this the right visa, is it still 35$ to enter Laos and how much will the visa be?.

I have a new passport with one 6 month tourist visa on it, will it be very straightforward,i.e. go in the morning and collect the next afternoon?.

Thanks in advance for your replies as I know how things change when it comes to visa's.

P.S. not married and 37 years old.

Believe $35 and 1,000 baht are fees but even getting visa is not a sure bet (although probably most likely) as people have inconsistent experiences in Vientiane. They could see those visas as a red flag and refuse any visa issue. But if to be issued it will be still be next workday.

Cheers lompburi, however I have a new passport with just one tourist visa from Hull, no red stamps etc. Is this likely to change things?

Should not be a problem in that case - missed your later saying you had the new passport after drawing concern with first sentence.
