Which Visa For 6 Months+...

Featured Replies

I’m planning to fly from London to Bangkok and stay in the country for over 6 months.

Is the best visa a triple entry tourist visa?

Are extensions still 1900Baht for a 30 day extension?

With 3 border runs and 3 extensions I should get close to 9 months?

Thanks for any help!

1. Triple would be best

2. 30 day extensions are 1900 baht

3. You would actually do two border runs as the initial entry counts as one. If you use the visa correctly you can get 265+ days. To get the maximum number of days you should enter Thailand the day after the visa is issued and make your last "border run" the day before the visa expires.

I'm applying to the Consulate in Hull UK. Booking my flight and then applying. I don't think there is any way I can get the visa that quickly and get to Thailand the next day?

I should get just under 9 months though which is good enough :)

Hull take under a week to return your passport so you should get just under 9 months.

personal visit to hull by apointment.
