I am planning a trip as follows

Entry in Thailand 27th April

Flight out 27th May 01:55 , I calculate this as 31 days by dates.

But you need to check in 2 hrs before flight time.

This would be near midnight on the 26th May = 30 days

I just need reassurance this is correct as I want to get the full 30 days but not run into trouble if it is taken as 31 days

Any comments welcome

The problem could be your airline counter as your ticket will show 31 days and there computer will show your authorized stay as 30 days. They can be very difficult if having a bad day and you are not likely to be there sunshine in such a case. Check-in early as you may have to buy a new ticket or change dates.

At the Thai end it would not be an issue as they will not be checking 99.9% of pax and even if you were one day late leaving by air there would not be an issue (no fine if only one day).
