iainiain101
I am looking to help get my Thai g/f a visitors visa to the UK in December. I am fairly confident I have all the correct paperwork from my end and know the embassy hours. I have just noticed through a link that the perminant UK residency visa has a fee of Baht 19,500 and needs to be supported by a bankers draft. What are the costs for a visitors visa, and do I need to get a bankers draft? Iain
the scouser
Iain, A visit visa of 6 months validity is £50 payable in local currency (3750 baht). I believe that the embassy still accepts cash for visit visas, but I'd advise contacting them first to establish this as a fact. Scouse.
Rj 81
Scouse is right, they do accept cash, my G/f applied in October this year and she paid with cash for a visit visa.
Duality
the fee is non-refundable, right? i think i read somewhere even if its refused they will pocket your cash and then probably have an office Pizz up at your expense.
