With pillion on a 650R... Basically, I just need to cover the ground - and it's crappy (poor condition / crazy busy) roads that I'm concerned about. (Though may put in a few more miles for better scenery.)

From searching on here it seems that 1 is very crap in parts and I know parts of 11 are - so am trying to keep off what seems to be the worst bits of them - but if anyone's get more info on 1&11 or on the smaller roads I've routed, would appreciate info/advice/opinions.

Highway 1 is really not that bad and gas is avalable all along. This is the quickest route

A few pot hole places north on Nokhon Sawan to KPP

Highway 11 is slower but still OK. more single lane areas. and less services. Up north it has better scenery - Deardfully boring south of Phisinulok and some construction near Udaratti
