We get charged a lot for domestic inland hauling in Thailand (Laem Chabang & Bangkok Port). Last time

31,500 + VAT for 5 Euro pallets from Laem Chabang to Phuket. We tried to use another transport company, but were told that very few companies get access to the Ports of Thailand. Any way around this ?

It is not a big difficulty in arranging for pick up from port...

But any reason whyt thrye are sending to Laem Chabang? They should be routing to BKK port, this would help reduce the trucking charges a bit.

Normally Bangkok Port but this was during the flooding. Bangkok Port also expensive in my opinion

my wife shipped some personel goods to los,when they arrived the handling agent told us the same thing,they had to use another co.to access the port at a cost,12,000bht for 1pallet,on checking this co.we found out they were one co.useing diff.names.seems its rife in los.
