GuestHouse
At last a book on Jim Thompson backed by information on his CIA past http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hQvqBuGLFdzW9aQdSisKYTDEwxYw?docId=8dffbfc26d8e4cdf8ef0d8b19d1ebaf5 I've got the previous "Jim Thompson - Unsolved Mystery" by William Warren, the above promise to provide the solution. Of course in the skullduggery of international and Thai politics there's always the chance of a bit of embarrassing insight that needs to be banned - so I'll order my copy off shore just incase. Xangsamhua
No solution, sorry. "The book provides no new clues about Thompson's vacation walk into a Malaysian jungle in 1967 from which he never returned." http://news.yahoo.com/cia-past-bangkoks-american-silk-king-emerges-111521473.html

"The book provides no new clues about Thompson's vacation walk into a Malaysian jungle in 1967 from which he never returned." http://news.yahoo.co...-111521473.html Indeed. No secrets revealed about his dealings with spooks and romantic Asiaphile.. Long been understood. This Mayalsian connection - lost in the jungle and whatnot. The mythical tale is told over and again, therefore set in stone. Remember, by 1967, Malaysia was festering with revolution and insurgencies.
