This guy managed to teach Thai hookers where Czechoslovakia is and where Slovakia is and the difference between a man who can't speak English or Thai saying Slovakia and Czechoslovakia. There is no such country called 'Czechoslovakia'. Anyway, their favorite country is 'Farang'. Perhaps if you don't ask the ladies working in the Japanese only bars. He said the Japanese paid the women extra to break their little fingers so they would scream at the appropriate moment. He posts here all the time or perhaps my memory is flawed although I have heard the same thing. No I was pointing out the fact that I am old fashioned and tend to call things by the name I called them when I was a younger man. Also the fact that different areas tend to be inhabited by different punter nationalities would confuse the issue. Where to Slovaks hang out? In looking at the issue from an experienced travelers point of view I would say Walking Street and Soi Six are pretty much melting pots of tourism. I however, think this survey is total BS because of a personal experiment I did last night. I invite anyone to duplicate my experience. The bar girl asked me where I was from. I said Slovakia. As you said, a lot don't seem to know one country from another, or even recognize the names -- especially once you get past the biggies and/or tourism players.... Anyway, their favorite country is 'Farang'. Not neccessarily, ive spoken with quite a few bar girls, the darker skinned girls seem to prefer farangs, because Asian clientele won't usually off them. The lighter skinned girls are able to choose who they want to to spend time with. Looks are in the eye of the beholder i know, but skank is just skank. I've had to tell girls to go with another guy, because they would get more...while with me all they would get is a lady drink....LOL...ive had girls beg me to take them, so they wouldn't have to go with a customer mamasan is pushing them to go with. kerryk Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 I don't live in a tourist area but I must admit this year there a lot of fat tourists here. A lot of couples from Germany and Scandinavia. A lot of fat. Perhaps it has always been this way but this year I am seeming to notice it more. Or maybe it is the countries that have been unaffected by the economy or exchange rate. The Russian women look very fit and that is a nice change. I actually had to Google bingo wings and no I don't have any. I am not a big fat guy (my avatar is me) but I have put on weight since I arrived with a 29 inch waist. As usual the Thai women are nice to everyone. I have some severely handicapped friends who the ladies watch over like mother hens. I think when you make fun of fat people it is not as bad as making fun of handicapped people but Thai women treat them both well.
