Been back in the U.S. with my wife and son for the last 2-1/2 years, but we are planning on coming back in March and staying for about 2-3 months. I was wondering if anyone knew the monthly rate of a small rental car (don't need anything fancy, just reliable). Last time I was there I owned a motorbike and car, so I have no clue about rental costs. I tried the car rental link, but the search feature didn't work. Any help would be appreciate.

if you rent by the day prices at the moment start from 1000 baht , and can easily be found in the city, they do reductions for longer periods, i think a whole month you should be able to get something around 500 - 700 baht a day.

you could try avis - they do some good deals but i think you have to call them ?

chiang mai Alpha car rental are pretty good.

monthly rentals from 700bt a day. All cars are new (less than 2 years old)

If you call up you might even get a better rate.
