Bambina, the regulations about acquiring Thai nationality for a foreigner are out of date and many of them are no longer applicable. For example, there is no longer an age reuirement (ie where it says not less than 40 years old) and the 10 year residence requirement is not longer true - the time under the most recent regulations is 5 years. The new and updated regulations (including various amendments ) are available from the Royal Thai Police. I have the address and will post it later.
