The Hua Hin International Film Festival 2012 will take place in under one week.

26th-29th January at Inter Continental Hua Hin Resort and Major Cineplex, Market Village

First ever major international film festival in Hua Hin

Organised by the National Federation of Thai Film Associations, the official body of the Thai film industry, and organizers of the Bangkok International Film Festival 2008 and 2009.

The biggest film industry and cultural event of the year.

Over fifty films from over fifteen countries.

Over 150 international guests.

Films from all film-making countries of ASEAN

First ever screening of 'The Lady' in South East Asia - (biography of Aung San Soo Kyi), with director Luc Besson and Michelle Yeoh in attendance.

Films including box office hits, festival award-winners, and films exploring culture and social issues of ASEAN.

Actors and filmmakers including David Lancaster - Producer 'Drive', Terence Chang (Face/Off), Actor Alex Meraz (The Twilight Saga), and the Korean stars of 'Always'.

The Gala Premiere is "It Gets Better", the latest controversial film by Tanwarin Sukkhapisit, whose last film "Insects in the Backyard" was banned in Thailand.

Includes controversial and uncensored films like 'Shame' and 'Blowfish'.

Business seminars program including delegates from across ASEAN, exploring important issues facing the ASEAN filmmaking industry.

Money raised from ticket sales goes to Flood Relief.

Aims to make Hua Hin the Cannes of Thailand.
