battersea Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 I am going to start studying Thai in Bangkok in September and i wanted to know if ... 1) Is it easy to open a Bank account on an Ed visa ? 2) Can i start trying to get a Thai driving and motorcycle license straightaway ? 3) Can i get a mobile phone monthly contract on an Ed visa ? Yes, many places will let you try on a 30 day visa exempt stamp, although only for 1 year temporary one. 3. No, you will need a work permit.
