Thai Police Find Illicit Drugs Worth Billions Of Baht During Rented House Search

Clearly, this is a sign that renting one's house is a moral risk and all renters should therefore be cleared by police on a monthly basis before being allowed to re-occupy their homes. If no one rented homes, no one could keep drugs in rented homes...

Sorry... I'm just trying to stay with the spirit of Thai news morality here.... tongue.pngbiggrin.png

is 20,000 baht excessive for this area for rent ? if so, why would the renter pay this much if he wasnt getting an extra service, ie; storage. maybe.

Well I guess not, yesterday I saw the House on Thai TV and there is no way you could rent such a House for 20,000Baht a Month!!

More like double the amount.

It amazing everytime the authority round up some Huge Activities, none or loner was caught.

The Casino with plastic chips with only 1 man caught.

Now this with the guy get away and the house happen to have nobody?

It good job if this drugs are recovered before they are distributed into the street but i am sure you can do better than that (Nacortic Department) Show us you are able to caught some big time drug suppliers. Not scapegoat or small timer.

Good catch, but again as always we never-ever see any drug factory, maffia boss, gang leader to be arrested...

I wonder who behind this mass scale production, now every week we see stories of big busts, thousands of pills, hundreds of kilogramms of drugs, but never see any catch of some of the big bosses, who clearly enjoy some kind of protection...

This is a fake bust, the landlord would have had the renters mobile number, the cops would have triangulated his location by now and caught him. More than likely this house has been rented out for quite some time now, for this specific reason.

A wise Thai -Chinese businessman once told me: "When someone plans to cheat you they've been planning it for a long time..."

Having a card in your wallet doesn't make someone else involved.

I have a card for some professors, and ive had a massage, does that make them pimps?

I just read at a other News Site that they just found another 3. Million Yaba Pills and a Quantity of Meth in a white Van with a Military issued Licence Plate. The Van was parked at the area Rangsit Khlong 2

Funny thing is I saw yesterday at the Police Report on Thai TV a white Van with a military Licence Plate parking in front of the house.

Don t tell me they just loaded it up parked it somewhere and sell it now as a second Bust :-)
