Discovered a minor dent in one of my aluminum wheels and it's enough to cause a slight vibration at higher speeds.

Anyone know a good shop in or around Bangkok that can knock out the dent?

Cheers!

There use to be a shop around the Onnut/ King Kaew intersection a few years ago. That areas known for flipping jacked wheels and tires so im sure they can point you at the right place. Many stores you can ask.

Try googling this: ร้านซ่อมล้อมอเตอร์ไซค์

Good idea when you have the wheel back from being repaired to make sure that excessive heat was not used to soften the metal prior to reforming. This will draw out the temper, making that area quite brittle.

Most alloy wheels are cold forged - not meaning no heat but a very controlled cooldown after forming to retain their strength.

and an alloy repair should be checked with x-ray for hidden cracks, few hundre baht in hospital or free in airportcowboy.gif
