Looking For Us Style Classes For Hobbies And Interest...

Featured Replies

(Title should read: U.S. style classes...) Anyone know about schools or companies who offer courses in extended learning for adults...? Tech/Vocational schools and College/Universities in the States offer evening courses for working people on a wide variety of topics and interests. Haven't found an institution like this in my searches... would appreciate any relevant guidance from knowledgable forum subscribers. Thanks.

Informal Education Centers offer vocational training. Usually on weekends, and often at temples.

They also offer basic education through grade 12.

Do you mean:

- For Thai people, or western/foreign people?

- Tuition in Thai, or English?

I'd imagine there are quite a few true vocational schools out there for such things as auto repair, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, etc. I'd also imagine they'll all be taught in Thai. Not too many foreigners interested in that stuff.

But if you're talking hobbies and interest such as golf, IT, Thai language, hang-gliding, and the like, quite a few of those. What specifically are you looking for?

go to ALISON.com online learning for free. certificates are optional. supported by the british council of teachers and microsoft.

very popular in Oz and US.

enjoy.
