Two workers injured as they erect street sign in Central Pattaya

PATTAYA: --Two workers are lucky to be alive after they received electric shocks during the installation of a street sign in Central Pattaya on Wednesday Afternoon.

The team were installing a street sign for the Sawangboriboon Wittaya School and as they erected the metal post it came very close to live power cables and it is thought by other workers who were supervising that a bolt of electricity was sent through the metal post, sending one man falling to the ground with another man at ground level sustaining a head injury after he received a shock and fell over.
