Navy civilian employee killed in hit-and-run accident in Sattahip

SATTAHIP:-- A Royal Thai Navy civilian employee was killed in a late night hit-and-run accident on the Sukhumvit Road, close to the main entrance to the base.

The accident occurred just before 3am and resulted in the death of Khun Ruangdeart aged 54 who was lying on the road close to his damaged motorbike. Witnesses mentioned seeing the bike initiate a U-turn and seconds later he was hit by a fast-approaching car, which failed to stop at the scene. Police were able to locate the car suspected of being involved in the accident,
