Sounds like an easy one but I have looked in many stores, IT City, Tesco, big C etc but all they have is low quality stuff or CD radios. I am after something like a Roberts radio, even the Sony shops don't seem to have anything. Anyone know of a shop anywhere? budget is about 5,000 baht.

Siam Paragon has some high end shops with McIntosh, B&O, etc...

I have seen this radio/cd at some shops in Fortune Mall. Sounded pretty good.

both Sony and Panasonic has 'technical' radio in portable format, range from thousand plus.

if you look for a desktop solution with style, Siam Paragon has many branded choices too !

What sort of radio are you looking for? I have a top drawer Grundig AM/FM/SW (only two battery) - rare. Barely had the thing on. Used to love to travel with SW but now I can get podcasts many places I travel - plus read the news on the Internet.
