Savannakhet.

Thanks - but is there any support for this claim?

I'd be happy for just a single entry without too much hassle.

Last Dec. Phnom Penh required a confirmed flight Bangkok - Australia.

BTW I've been wondering if this would work twice in a row or whether Penang would be better.

Vientiane/Laos in case you have no previous Thai Tourist Visa

I'm also wondering about this, and don't mind a bit of tourism.

Hong Kong? I'm wondering if the presence of a certain well-known Thai living there has influenced the consulate. Certain photographs hanging on the walls at the consulate there always had me thinking something strange about the place (don't ask for details, they involve things that cannot be discussed).

Brunei?

Indonesia?

Phnom Penh seems to be the weirdest regarding requirements.

Penang has developed a reputation over the years for peculiarites.
