Thailand King'S Composed Songs Cd

Featured Replies

I can't find a proper forum for music so I post it here.

I just learnt recently from the Chiang Mai Royal Flora that the King composed many song. After trying some, I like quite a few, especially H.M. Blues & Ruk(love) I have seen some cds cover with the King's photo in the past but don't pay attention thinking there are just national anthems or the likes

I just saw a few in Chiang Mai today but not sure which to get. The shop's staffs don't understand English and can help. No trying allowed. I cannot afford to carry or buy all. Hope some of you familiar can give some opinions. I found the followings:

1) This one has a pink hard cover box, more pricey than the others but not sure what's included inside but shows only 16 or 17 tracks in Thai words.

2) This is in a cheap plastic cover with the King's photo on the cover, has 20 over tracks;

3) This one is in a normal cd cover with the cover overall yellow/goldish colour of a lighted monument photo shot at night, 20 over tracks.

Does anyone know which or what versions of songs or just music are these cds ?

Please don't recommend me to get free download. I respect the Thai King.

I believe that at some Government offices they actually sell them. I know in Nonthaburi at the WP office they have a small stall selling them. Try one out and see, if not they will know where to get them.

Actually the book is out today, a good investment for the Mother in Law me thinks.

Some major Post Offices sell them,you could ask at your main one.

What book are you refering ?

Will the post office allow trying the cd to listen ?

I am not talking about any book.

I don't know,if they have a CD player why don't you ask them.
