ray23
http://ag.arizona.edu/azaqua/ista/ista6/ista6web/pdf/777.pdf Seems to have been conduted in Arizona USA, but it speak directly to Thailand. Udon will be selling Shrimp in June 250 baht per 1000. If I understood the study correctly you can stock both at the same time and it actually makes for a better pond. The second way they spoke of was to have the fish in a floating cage. The third rotating crops. It would appear in the end you can make more money using one these styles then just doing Pla Nin ( Talapia) Anyone have any idea what type of Pla N in we arew getting here in Issan. For 250 Baht I may give it a try and see what happens. Any thoughts??????????????
Mosha
Pla Nin + Nile Tilapis. Pla Tim are a "sport" of Pla Nin. They are pink. Not sure what you mean by what type, Now while Nile Tilapias may be filter feeders, i've caught them on worm, pork and prawn.

Dom answered for me they are Nile Talapia, I will try 3000 shrimp in the pond with them (750) baht so not a huge risk
