Featured Replies

Anyone been to Koh Talu lately??

where can we get the boat from, and what times and price?

also, is there much to do on the island? how long should we stay for? is there only one beach, or is there lots to explore?

how much for cheap accomodation??

we were thinking of going this weekend for a day or two......

just as a follow up guys...... we got the train from hua hin to bangsaphan yai, with intentions of visiting koh talu. We then got 2 expensive 200B motorbike taxis to bangsaphan noi, and asked about the hotel at the port..... this was 1500B and it was 9pm, so we thought we would get a cheaper option as we were on a budget, and were only going to sleep and check out

we also enquired about the boat, and this was 600B per person return, and the hotel was in excess of 2000B on the island..... the island is privately owned, and the owner is also the only boat operator i believe, so competition is non existent, so prices are high

so we didnt bother in the end, and came back home the next day passifier.gif

the train journey was nice tho, and my girlfriend has finally forgiven her for dragging her on a sh*te trip

We really like Bangsaphan. Also love Ban Kruit. We stayed here and really liked it:

Khanom is also a nice place to relax for a few days.

That place looks nice also. I spent many hours on the beach in a hammock. Beautiful beach.

Your place looks a bit better than where we stayed. Very nice.
