leelou
I can't get coverage from my UK network when I come to Thailand. Is it easy and affordable to buy Pay as you go type - top up mobile in Koh Samui so I can text messages to my friends and family in the UK? Just a basic phone that I can text from will do. Any advice would be appreciated and also where can I go in Koh Samui to buy one and how much do they cost and how much is it to send texts? limbos
SIM card costs 180,-Baht I think. Shops can unlock your phone easily if necessary.
Jack Jones
Agree with the above. Just unlock your phone and buy a 1-2-Call SIM. Far cheaper than paying for calls on your UK tariff

Boo
there are about 100 million mobile shops in Koh Samui, arrive & walk 5 minutes down any main street & you will find one (100 million is a slight exaggeration)
