Academic Certificate Translation To Thai

Featured Replies

Hi,

I want to translate my academic certificate (from university and high school) to apply for work permit. The documents are not in english so I want to translate them to Thai.

My question is if these documents need to have the Hague apostille or something similar. Reading the work permit form I see it only requires transcription to Thai and it doesn't say anything about legalizing the documents. It's going to be a hassle if I need to send the documents back to europe and make my relatives to get the apostille for me. Please, can anyone provide some info on this? I guess lots of people had gone through this process many times.

On the other hand, if this legalization is required, Can I just avoid this process by asking the company who wants to hire me to fill in the form saying they certify I have these qualifications? http://wp.doe.go.th/sites/default/files/form/edu-form.pdf

Thanks!!

Thailand is not a member to the Hague Apostile treaty.

Try indeed getting a translation made by an agnecy with their stamp, sometimes it is enough.

I work for a government school and both immigration and labour office accept a translation made by the school and signed by the director.

By agency do you mean any translation agency? I am from Spain and one of the documents is in Spanish, but the other is in Catalan, which holds co officiality with Spanish and some other languages there, and I seriously doubt I can get a translation here. I even wonder if my embassy can provide this service although they should.

Any info on filling the education form? My prospective employer certifying I have these qualifications and work experience is not going to be enough?

Thanks again

I mean a translation agency. Check with your embassy if they know an agency who can do.

They will want to see proof of education.
