You're playing the credentials game of deflection. You cannot support your absurd assertions, so you deflect from the issues at hand be attempting to assert your great "wisdom" derived from taking a few astronomy courses. My guess is that you might actually get away with that with some people. Well, I'm calling your bluff. Show us your cards. What are you really up to? Several possibilities: A. You're trolling the forum trying to stir things while knowing full well there is no support for your assertions, and so you have provided none. Instead, you deflect. B. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of something you supposedly learned in school. That's always a possibility. C. You were taught the nonsense by someone with a fundamental misunderstanding of how things work and you never bothered to independently verify what you were taught. So I ask again: Please provide some support for your assertion that when two black holes merge, the resulting radiation will kill every life form in the merged galaxy. Surely, such an event would be front page news in astronomy circles. After all, we can read all about supernova explosions and the so-called "zone of death." Is there a "zone of death" that accompanies the merger of two black holes? Or is the resulting energy mostly in the form of a distortion of space/time? Alternatively, you could just admit that you are wrong and leave it at that. We all make mistakes.
