Ed Visa And 90 Day Reporting

hi. I am on an ED visa, and this week when I went to Chonburi Immigration to get another 90 days, the lady (the second one we go to, the one behind) said I do not need to do the 90 report ( as I had done prior times ) because since I am coming every 90 days for the visa extension, that is enough. They changed the policy.

Of course, I have no proof of this, so I am a bit worried as I would like this policy change confirmed.

A friend of mine on an ED visa went over to the 90 day desk, and the guy did it ( my friend was hoping to be told "no need", however....).

Anyone know about this policy change?

I did not hear of any change.

Receiving a new extension does not count as 90 reporting. ( except for the first extension )

So many people have to do the two things separate at the almost the same day.

Applying for a new extension and doing the 90 day reporting. ( two different forms )

Like i said maybe it is changed but i heard nothing about this, It is possible that this is a local thing.
