Jomtien Beach/Road - Which Part Is Best For Cafes ?

Featured Replies

I find from map that Jomtien is a very long road, longer than Pattaya North to Walking Street end. Will like to explore this street but which part of it is the best part with more choices of a/c cafes to rest my legs ?

Turn right at the beach near the police station/7-11 ( Dong Tarn) there are many smaller places there , try the Sea Falcon.

I walk this area on a regular basis. Especially nice early in the morning. IMHO, the nicest part is mentioned above. As you head towards the beach on Thapphraya, the traffic goes to the left, South, which is Jomtien Beach Road. To the right is a car park and the road is usually blocked off just past that, making this a great area to walk as there are no scooters and no cars. Several nice cafes along the way, but not sure any have AC. Maybe, but it's usually so nice, I've not needed it. Plus, lots of palm trees, so great shade. This is true for pretty much the entire stretch all the way to almost the Southern end.

The Southern end has just a small sidewalk on the beach side...usually blocked with restaurants tables. I don't like to walk that part. I usually walk from around Chaiyaphruek to the end in Dong Tan and then back. Great fun.
