I will set up an appointment, but once you are at the US Consulate in Chiang Mai to get extra pages for your passport, how long does it usually take for them to do it? I am trying to see if I can do it with a day trip from Mae Sot.

I can only tell you that each time I've done this in the past (BKK - HCMC - Singapore) it's was done while I waited - took about 15 - 20 minutes.

Many thing use to be free but now they are all profit centers, 50 dollars for a 5 min. stamp on a form you have filled out.

moe666, this form you filled out and paid 50 dollars to get it stamped, was it the application form to get extra pages added to your passport?

Happens while you wait. 20 minutes. The Consulate is much more helpful then the Embassy.
