Hi Everyone,

Hopefully someone been in this situation and can enlighten me.

Im currently in Thailand. Im on Tourist Visa for now and just applied for Education Visa with Pro Language. The reason why im here in Bangkok is to learn Thai language. My family runs a business with Thai people and i see there is a need to learn Thai culture and language in order to maximise the performance of the company. I have a wife and 2 kids and thought of bringing them over for their education here in Bangkok Pattana. My wife currently runs a BPO in Manila and she is a Philippines citizen. We have a marriage cert from Philippines but not from where i come from which is Singapore. Is it easy to bring her and the kids into Bangkok as i prefer them to be close to me especially my daughter which is only 5 months old. I want to be there for them as much as possible thus hopefully there's a way to bring them in.

Thank You

Warm Regards,

Riz

You must first get a non-immigrant ED-visa for yourself and get an extension of stay from immmigration based on your study. When that is the case, your wife and child can also stay in Thailand as a dependent of you.

Do note that all 3 of you will probably need to apply for an extension of stay every 90 days and pay 1,900 baht for that per person.

Required is that you can show proof of your marriage.
